Privacy Policy

Introduction

At EnviroDynamics Solutions, (“we”, “us”, or “our”), we are committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you interact with our website or services. It is designed to comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and other applicable laws. By using our Site or providing personal data to us, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. (For the purposes of this Policy, “personal data” means any information that can identify you, whether on its own or when combined with other information.)

Personal Data We Collect

We only collect personal data that is relevant and necessary for the purposes identified in this Policy. The types of personal data we may collect include:

  • Identification and Contact Details: such as your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, or company name (if you provide it) when you fill out forms or contact us.
  • Inquiry or Communication Information: any information you provide when contacting us for support, product inquiries, or customer service (for example, details you share in an online contact form or via email).
  • Website Usage Information: such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing actions on our Site. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and Tracking” below) and helps us understand how visitors use our Site.
  • Other Information You Choose to Provide: any additional personal data you voluntarily provide to us (for instance, if you respond to surveys, subscribe to newsletters, or interact with us on social media through our Site).

We do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal data (such as financial information, health data, NRIC numbers, etc.) via our website, unless you explicitly provide it to us. If you are just browsing our Site, we generally do not require you to provide any personal data.

How We Collect Personal Data

We collect personal data through several channels:

  • Directly from You: You may give us your personal data when you:
    • Fill out a contact or inquiry form on our Site (e.g. to ask a question or request information).
    • Subscribe to our mailing list or newsletters.
    • Register for an account (if applicable) or sign up for any events or services through our Site.
    • Communicate with us via email, phone, or online chat and provide us with your details.
  • Automatically: When you visit our Site, certain data is collected automatically:
    • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to collect information about your usage of our Site (such as pages viewed, time spent, referring URL, and navigation behaviour). This helps us analyse trends, administer the Site, and improve user experience. (See the Cookies and Tracking section below for more details.)
    • Analytics Tools: We may use third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics) that use cookies and other tracking technologies to gather usage data and website performance metrics.
  • From Third Parties: In general, we prefer to collect information directly from you. However, we may receive personal data from third-party sources in some cases – for example, if you’ve given consent to another company to share your information with us, or if your information is publicly available. If so, we will process that data according to this Policy and any applicable laws.

We collect personal data only as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. You have the choice not to provide certain information (for instance, by not filling in optional fields), but do note that this might limit your ability to use some features of our Site or receive certain services (e.g., we might not be able to follow up on a contact request without contact details).

How We Use Your Personal Data

EnviroDynamics Solutions uses the personal data collected for clear and legitimate purposes. We will only use your information for purposes that you have been informed of or would reasonably expect, including:

          • Providing and Improving Services: To respond to your inquiries, fulfill your requests, and provide you with the information or services that you ask from us. For example, if you submit a question or request via our contact form, we will use your contact details to respond. We also use data to improve our products and services, as well as to maintain and enhance the content and functionality of our website.
          • Communication: To communicate with you about our company updates, new products or services, events, or industry news that may interest you. We will only send you marketing or promotional communications with your consent (where required by law). You can opt out of such communications at any time (see “Your Rights and Choices” below).
          • Analytics and Personalisation: To analyse how users interact with our Site and marketing materials. This helps us understand user behaviour, improve the user experience, and personalise content or features for our audience. For example, we might use browsing data to optimise our website’s design or to tailor the information we display to you.
          • Legal and Administrative Purposes: To enforce our Terms and Conditions and other agreements, to prevent fraud or other illegal activities, and to ensure the security of our website. We may also use your data to comply with applicable legal obligations, regulations, or governmental requests (such as verifying your identity if required, or retaining records for compliance purposes).

We will not use your personal data for purposes unrelated to the above without first obtaining your consent, unless otherwise permitted or required by law. We do not engage in selling your personal data to third parties.

          Cookies and Tracking

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit certain websites. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Site to enhance your experience and gather information about visitor usage.

          How we use cookies:

          • Essential Cookies: Some cookies are necessary for the Site to function properly (for example, to remember your session or preferences). These enable you to navigate the Site and use its features.
          • Analytics and Performance Cookies: We use these to collect information about how visitors use our Site (e.g. which pages are visited most often, how users move through the Site). This data is aggregated and anonymous, and it helps us improve how our website works. For instance, we might use Google Analytics cookies to analyse overall site traffic and user behaviour.
          • Functionality Cookies: These cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make (such as your language or region) to provide a more personalised experience. They may also be used to provide certain features, like remembering if you’ve already seen a notification so it doesn’t show again.

Third-party cookies: In some cases, we may embed content or plugins from third-party services (for example, an embedded video or a social media “share” button). These services might set their own cookies on your browser. We do not control the placement of these cookies, so we recommend checking the respective third party’s privacy/cookie policies.

Your choices: Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies or alert you when a cookie is being placed on your device. Note: If you disable cookies, some parts of our Site or services may not function optimally. For example, certain features might become unavailable or you may not receive personalised content.

By continuing to use our Site without changing your settings, you agree to our use of cookies as described above. We display a notice or banner about our cookie use when you first visit the Site to inform you and obtain any necessary consent.

Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Data

We value your privacy. We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third parties. However, in the normal course of business, we may share your personal data with trusted third parties under the following circumstances, and always in accordance with the PDPA and other applicable laws:

          • Service Providers: We may disclose necessary portions of your personal data to third-party service providers or partners who perform services on our behalf to support our operations. For example:
            • IT and hosting companies that help maintain our website and databases.
            • Email delivery services or marketing platforms that assist us in sending newsletters or communications (only if you have subscribed).
            • Analytics and search engine providers that aid us in improving and optimising our Site.

These parties are given access to personal data only to the extent needed to perform their specific tasks. They are obligated to keep your information confidential and use it solely for the purposes we specify, and they must comply with applicable data protection laws.

            • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., law enforcement or regulatory agencies). For instance, we might share information when necessary to comply with a court order, subpoena, or other legal process.
            • Protection of Rights: We may also share personal data when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our employees, users, or others. This includes enforcing our Terms and Conditions or establishing, exercising, or defending against legal claims.
            • Business Transfers: In the event of a reorganisation, merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, personal data relevant to that transaction may be transferred to the parties involved. If such a transfer occurs, we will ensure that the recipient of the personal data is bound to respect your personal data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy, or we will notify you and obtain your consent where required.

Aside from the purposes above, we will not disclose your personal data to third parties without your consent. If we ever need to share your information for any new purpose, we will seek your permission first or provide you with the opportunity to opt out.

            Data Security

EnviroDynamics Solutions takes reasonable precautions to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, alteration, or destruction. We implement administrative, physical, and technical security measures that are in line with industry standards to safeguard the information we hold. These measures include, for example:

            • Secure servers and firewalls to store data.
            • Encryption technologies to protect data during transmission, where applicable (e.g., SSL/TLS encryption for our website).
            • Regular software updates and security audits to address vulnerabilities.
            • Access controls to ensure that personal data is accessible only by authorised personnel who need the information to perform their duties.

While we strive to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can help keep your data secure by using strong passwords, protecting your login credentials, and notifying us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your personal data related to our Site.

            Data Retention

We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by law. For example:

            • If you contact us with an inquiry, we will keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and follow up, plus a reasonable period thereafter in case of further correspondence.
            • If you have subscribed to our marketing communications, we will retain your contact details until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until the information is no longer needed.
            • We may retain certain information for longer if it is required by legal obligations (for instance, for financial record-keeping or compliance purposes) or to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

When your personal data is no longer needed for the specified purposes, we will either destroy it or anonymise it in a secure manner. If there are technical constraints that prevent deletion (for example, data stored in backups), we will ensure that appropriate measures are in place to prevent further processing or use of the data until deletion is possible.

            Your Rights and Choices

We respect your rights to your personal data. Under Singapore’s PDPA (and where applicable, other data protection laws), you have certain rights and choices regarding your personal data that we hold. These include:

            • Access and Correction: You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to receive information about how we have used or disclosed it in the past year. You also have the right to request corrections to your personal data if you believe it is inaccurate or incomplete. Upon request, and subject to verification of your identity, we will provide you with the personal data in our records and/or correct any errors or omissions. (In some cases, we may be permitted or required by law to withhold access; if so, we will explain the reason.)
            • Withdrawal of Consent: Where you have given us consent to use your personal data (for example, to receive marketing emails), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. If you choose to withdraw consent, please note that it does not affect the lawfulness of any processing done before your withdrawal. We will process your request as soon as possible and, in any event, within a reasonable timeframe. Once your consent is withdrawn, we will stop using your data for that purpose and, if applicable, remove it or anonymise it, unless retention is required by law.
            • Opt-Out of Marketing: If you have subscribed to our newsletter or other marketing communications, you can opt out at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly with your request. Thereafter, we will not send you promotional emails, though we may still contact you for administrative or transactional purposes (e.g., responding to an inquiry you made).
            • Deletion of Data: You may request that we delete your personal data under our custody or control. Upon a valid request, we will take reasonable steps to erase your data, unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons. (For example, we might need to keep certain records for compliance or dispute resolution.) If complete deletion is not feasible (such as data stored in backups), we will anonymise the data and/or isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
            • Account Information: If our Site allows you to create an account or profile, you may have the ability to access, update, or correct your personal details by logging into your account settings. For any changes not manageable through your account, you can contact us for assistance.

To exercise any of your rights above, please refer to the Contact Us section below. We will require you to verify your identity (for example, through email verification or other means) before fulfilling your request, to ensure that your data is protected from unauthorised access. No fees are charged for most requests, but if your request is excessive or manifestly unfounded, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to comply as permitted by law. We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible, and in accordance with applicable timeframes set out by law.

            Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to other websites or services that are not operated by us. Please be aware that once you leave our Site or interact with a third-party link, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We do not control the content, privacy practices, or policies of external websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites or services before providing any personal data to them. EnviroDynamics Solutions is not responsible or liable for the practices of such third parties regarding your personal data. Similarly, if we use third-party social media pages or accounts (for example, a LinkedIn or Facebook page for EnviroDynamics Solutions), any information you share on those platforms is subject to the privacy policies of the respective platform providers.
